Bremen | Racism against Black People and People of Color – How can we collectively fight the racist roots of fascism in our society? With Sunny Omwenyeke of the Bremen Solidarity Center
22. Juni um 18:00 bis 19:30
Violence against Black people and people of colour has for centuries been a cornerstone of the growth of the Western capitalist system. This violence manifests itself variously through institutional and structural racism, police brutality, and exploitative relations within our societies. The AfD is also a combined maximisation of these forms of violence and a result of normalised (re)production of racism in German society.
On the 22nd of June at 6 Pm, we are having a discussion with Sunny Omwenyeke, the founder of the Bremen Solidarity Centre, about the systematic functions of racism against Black people and people of colour, and how we can collectively resist the racist character of this class-based society — a character that resonates with German parties and forms the core of fascism.
